what? is it really over?
wow. the last couple of days have been absolutely amazing. wow.
thursday was my last day of my sophomore year. wow. kind of a bittersweet day as i said good bye to friends who aren’t coming back next year, but overall a great day. a great day finished off by a great end of the year party spent hanging out with great people. spent thursday night with a super awesome friend.
and then friday....

well. it’s been a while. but here i am again. first of all, i just have to say ONLY TWO MORE WEEKS TILL THE END OF SCHOOL AND FLEET FOXES!!!! all right. now that i got that out of my system i can get to the other stuff. get ready, this is gonna get deep.

first of all, happy birthday to my favorite mother ever!
so last night, my sister and i revisited the thesaurus that she got for her birthday last year (you know you’re homeschooled when…… you stay up late reading the thesaurus). we found some wonderful latin -cides, -iacs, -ologys, and -phobias, and i wanted to share:

when feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, agitated, stressed, confused, or bored with your homework simply remove yourself to a solitary place, turn on some MGMT, arcade fire, or the like and dance till you’re hot, sweaty, and want to sit down (for me that’s about one song). then return, so tired you can’t do anything but think, to your homework. it works.
